Mt. Zion and Mt. Zion Mission East Family,

On Sunday, July 4, 2021 we will return to in-person Worship!

Combined Services (Sunday School, Worship and Communion) will be held at the “Mother Church” for Mt. Zion and Mt. Zion Mission East members.

We will continue to live-stream to Facebook to provide an alternative to those who are in our vulnerable groups or those who are not ready to publicly gather together. Click on this link Mt. Zion Facebook to watch the livestreaming, or to view the Video afterwards.

This has been a tough season and we are glad to see it in the rear-view mirror. Public health officials recommend that those who have not been vaccinated remain masked.

Next Sunday (July 11th) we will have a Welcome Home Sunday in which we welcome back to church ALL of our Mt. Zion and Mt. Zion Mission East Church family with a special celebration after Morning Worship at the Mother Church.

As we prepare to give thanks to God, let us remember to “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” (Psalm 100)

Please join us as we CELEBRATE our freedom as God’s Family!

117th Church Anniversary

Mt. Zion...
                 Mt. Zion...
                                 Mt. Zion!!!

As we come together to Celebrate 117 years of service to God and community, Michele and I are thankful to be the Pastor and 1st Lady that has led the Old Ship of Zion for the past five years.

It is our desire and prayer that God continue blessing as we continue to Worship, Witness and Work for the Lord. As we move toward future achievements and accomplishments, let us not forget those who helped over the past 117 years.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Mount Zion God has a plan for us, He has proven that to us by allowing this ministry to exist for 117 years. What a mighty God we serve! Won’t He Do It!

Let us continue serving the Lord wholeheartedly and LOVE Him and others with all our soul and strength. By God’s grace and mercy, and your obedience, we’re able to CELEBRATE today.

As we look toward the future, let us look with great expectations to the things God is getting ready to do for us and through us. Let us continue to read, study and obey Gods Word, and live it daily to the best of our abilities.

Happy 117th Anniversary!
